I have seen the cove lighting and I guess it all comes down to what each person like and doesn't like. It would be a boring world if everyone like all the exact same thinks. With that said, I am not big on the use of the amount of LED's on Corvette's lately. In side the engine compartment so at nightly cruise ins are OK, but It seems like everyone that is doing it is trying to out do the next guy. In my opinion (and again my opinion only) they do have tendency to look a little on the ricer side.

JWMotoring has the side cove lights, remote control turn on, multiple color choices. I have mine in red.

I made my own cove grills in gloss black.

I put in the mesh then color matched. I would like to see something a little more pronounced like the GS but it will do.

If you had amber led's and tied them into the running lights and blinkers, it would be a nice addition. I did that with the floorboards on my Motorcycle. They have serve a purpose and look really good.

They are painted with black high temp engine paint. I painted them first and then used my drimmel tool to brush off the paint from the raised Corvette letters.

If I were to do the mesh, I would personally use an black mesh office trash can for Staples or Office Depot.

The mesh is small and the black finish good quality.
I have done it on several motorcycles.
Though I have pondered it on the Corvette, I have just lacked the ambition.

There are the brightest I have ever found. I've used them on my motorcycle floorboards and tied them into the turn signals using the amber.
