I'm hauling a 2011 Grandsport from Florida To Pa on an open trailer. What and where is the best place to put the straps on the Grandsport to secure it to the open belly 16' carhauler, so as not to do any damage.... ROOKIE BOB LOL

I haul a C5 ZO6 on an open trailer. I use the pieces that go into the frame. Its what the factory uses. I got them from a guy who used to haul vettes for factory. They are similar to jacking pucks. They go in the same place. They have hooks on the end. I hook tie down straps to them. Two to the front. Two to the rear. Sorry, I don't no where to get any. But it is an option. I no some put straps thru wheels, but I don't like that method. Thought it might mar wheels.

See attached - several styles are made - safe, secure and does not ride on the wheel or the frame.
Many Mfgs no longer allow frame ties downs as they where bending the lighter weight frames made today.
