since you opened science topic to it.. don't forget Corvette Black paint has the greatest concentration of Dilithium Crystals.. which makes warp speed obtainable. So - Black is still faster.

Black Is Fastest if you have the hash marks only as it causes the red transfer of energy along with the Black thing, and I think the winter is killing the Northern Vette owner's brains. We are driving in FL with the top off/down.

The ones with the racing stripes are the fastest period. (doesn't matter the color) Why else would they put them on.

Clearly the secret remains for anyone who purchased a Blade Silver Metallic car...
GM option Z11-A342.1 (Capacitor, Flux, 1 ea.) when installed propels the vehicle through time, hence making silver the fastest color.
Still no explanation from GM as to why they only offer this option for silver, but hey, i'll take it.

Ha ha. It's the slowest color because it absorbs all the colors and therefore is the heaviest Corvette.
