C7 back to a C6 ?

At least in my area-Northern NJ there is an absolute glut of both C6's and new C7's. My spinal injuries and subsequent surgeries are making it impossible to get in and out of either model. Spinal fusions and Corvettes don't mix-once I'm in all is well but getting out is quite a task.
If you want a shock-try to sell or trade one, I was quoted $40K for my 2013 3LT Grand Sport 6sp.Supersonic Blue with 3500 miles on it and its never been in the rain in 20 months- they allege it was because "its not Corvette season" yet they have sold 14 new C7's since October. I have even seen low mileage '14 C7's for sale. The market has been flooded and frankly resale for either model is suffering badly. I may improve once the weather gets warm but I seriously doubt it.

Not sure what afford really means. Could I trade my C6 in and pay the difference, yep, but it's just not worth raiding the savings account for such a marginal difference in performance when my 2011 has only 11k miles on it and an extended warranty till 2019.
I'll be a C6 member for quite awhile, and I'm totally fine with that.

That's one good looking C7. Great combo of that color and those wheels. I doubt I've seen a better looking one.
I think they did a wonderful job with the nose clip. I'm still ambivalent about the rear. Seen in person, it looks much better than in the pix. My problem isn't looks as much as tradition. Taking your halo car and sticking the recognizable rear end of a lesser car on it seems like a bizarre and incorrect choice.
Anyway, there is no doubt at all that your C7 is beautiful.
