Congrats!
I bought my 2012 GS in March of this year. Had 4500 miles on it. It was someone's garage queen. Now she's mine... lol. Not my daily driver, so I drive it once a week only if there is no chance of rain! Sometimes twice a week.
I now have 7000 miles. I enjoy driving it and may start driving it more.
Enjoy yours!

If you look at what you get with the GS package, especially a m6 coupe, it is very obvious that the extra money spent equals; better brakes, wheels, suspension, dry sump oil system (m6), rear brake cooling vents, better transmission gearing, differential cooler and transmission cooler (m6), not to mention wide body kit and front air scoop, etc.
Not to mention there is a history or heritage that comes with the Grand Sport designation. The latest being the closest to the original in 1963. It had 550hp and weighed around 2500 lbs! The 1996 GS had 330hp, forgot the weight. The new GS has 435hp and weighs around 3300 lb ...no slug in the world of performance! Nothing poser about it, it is a legitimate upgrade over a base model car, unlike the GT1 edition that was purely graphics and no performance upgrades.

I bought one simply because I thought it looked so much better, so call me a poser, but I'm glad now that I did now that I actually know something about what the Grand Sport included
Here it is "posing" LOL

Congrats!
I just picked up my 2012 grand sport coupe 2 weeks ago myself.
Complements and stares everywhere, like i'm driving a ferrari. But my car is red so maybe they're attracted by a red sports car. I love it though.
Right now i'm only doing tints and forgestar wheels in piano black. I kind of like having a "quiet" car at the moment. It's plenty quick for me. I came from a bolt on 2006 pontiac gto which became annoying at times because it was soo loud. I like loud but it was loud and not really fast. Car couldn't trap higher than 110 to save it's life lol. It was a pig. So all that noise for nothing lol.
I may end up doing axlebacks first if i were to go into the "performance" part of the car. Or at least do it for some sound. Not sure yet when i wanna do the long tube/xpipe deal yet. I know that itch will get to me soon, once when the warm weather rolls around lol
To answer the poser comment. Most GS's cost more than some used C6Z's. Just because someone went for a GS, doesn't mean they can't afford a Z. I thought about a C6Z but when it was actually time to buy, i paid a couple grand more for a GS. Why? because i have 6k miles and warranty until 2020. That's why lol.
