Sell C6 or Keep?
I have my 2005 Precision Red LS2 A/4 Z51 Optioned C6 Coupe which is an awesome Vette but from the day I sold my C4 a little over 4 1/2 years ago, I have regretted it. Now I want 'Beauty" the C4 back next to "Beast" the C6 where she belongs.
Dive in.

Cool fotos! Back in 1967 the aircraft carrier I was on (USS Ranger) was moving from Alameda to Bremerton and I was able to bring my '64 vert on the ship. What ship is yours on?
I sold my '89 vert (after 10 years) to buy an '05 vert. I now have an '11 GS vert and, while I remember my '89 fondly, I forget about the heat in the foot wells, the side frame rails to climb over, the overall cramped feeling in the cockpit...nah, I wouldn't go back.

It's a decision that only you can make!

The photos were taken on The USS Lexington. They were taken during The Vettes & Jets On The Lex Corvette Car Show held every other year in Corpus Christi Texas. 350 Corvettes on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier is an awesome sight.

Did you have to take up a car payment when you bought your C6? I miss not having a car payment. When I traded in my C5 and got my C6, I got a car payment too. I hate a car payment, but now I learned to deal. Why don't you like your C6, there obviously is something wrong.
If you don't like your C6, sell it. Get something you like. Easy.

No car payments when I purchased the C6. Nothing is wrong with the C6 either. I am to the point I hardly ever drive it anymore. When it was inspected last they joked I had only driven it less than 800 miles since the last inspection was done. It is possibly time for someone else to enjoy the Vette

What makes you think you will drive the C4 more then the C6. I owned a C4 and there is no way I would consider dumping my C6 to go back to a C4.

Had my '90 red 6 speed roadster for 24 years and sold it to buy a '13 coupe. Like you, I really miss the C4 as it became part of my life. I'm now looking to sell the C6 to go back to my first love; a '63 SW coupe. I've missed that one for 50 years. Can you ever go back? I'd like to try!

I just sold my 96 C4 with the LT4 for a 2008 Coupe, I miss the C4 would I go back, no. I wish I had the money to have kept it but I don't, The C6 is faster and much better drive, the C4 was more of a raw performance car in my opinion it handled better but its only a choice you can make you have to live with it

I have found that some of the nostalgia I feel for cars I owned the past is actually tied to good memories associated with the car rather than the car itself.
The C6 is clearly a superior car compared to the C4 or any of the cars I have owned.

I understand what you are saying. I don't think it has much to do with tech, sophistication, better car than____X, etc. It has to do with what you want to do. If you can do it, do it. A year from now, if you don't like that idea and want to change again, change. There is nothing in stone that says you have to keep only your C6, or that a C4 is the wrong car for you. Maybe like Jmhorn above I had a very pristeen LT4, too much so. So, I sold it to a nearby friend who kept it for about seven years and sold it to a club member of his. My opinion only: great car, glad I owned it. But I doubt it'll be easy to find a 7K mile '96 like I did nine years ago.

Sell it, don't sell it, love it, love the C4, drive it, don't drive it, want a C4 over a C6, your crazy, C4 is better, yada, yada, yada.
Every post is another opinion, but the bottom line is simple.
No one but YOU can decide what YOU want to do.
What ever you do, good luck.
