C6 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019

Default Seven year itch

It's been 7 years this week. Born 10-30-07 - Took delivery 11-8-07

And a little exercise to celebrate the odometer this morning. Actually took two pics, but the first that was right on the number was fuzzy and the second (this one) was just after easing up.

Boy's just have to have fun.

115+ MPH at only 2400 RPM - very cool!!!! Don't think I'd have the ***** to take a pic at that speed

That is a monumental number. Mine will never see those numbers, that is total miles. I have been North of 124 though.

Cool beans!

I've been to both those numbers, but not simultaneously. It's good to see others with a bunch of miles under their belts.

Nice. I buy cars to drive and enjoy (like you), not protect and admire. Fortunately for guys like me who don't buy brand new, there are plenty of garage queens waiting for my checkbook whenever I'm in the market. Thank you, waxers, for keeping my future car in great shape for me.

I have to add my thanks to the fine folks who previously owned my GS Vert and only put on 2200 miles in two years.....I did 9k just this summer....

I started doing odometer pics with matching speeds when I rolled over 100K. Got a 110 mph pic at 110K and a 111 mph pic at 111,111.

The next one planned is a 123 mph pic at 123456 miles and then slow down to 78 mph for another pic to finish the sequence.

I'll probably quit after 160K, simply due to the age of the car and the driver at that time.

It's just fun documenting the lunacy and sending the pics to the grandkids, so they know grandpa isn't dead yet.

I hope I make it there. With all I have done I wonder how long I can justify this c6 sexiness but I just love this car.
