Grinding a lot going up or down to 2nd gear. Why...
I got the skip shift eliminated. But lately the car sometimes just crunches into 2nd gear when I up shift. Or sometimes when I downshift, i do it ever so delicately with 2 fingers on the shifter and it still grinds and doesn't realy want to fall into gear at certain speeds. I've been driving standards for 15 years and I have a class 1 lic. I know how to match gears.
I get so mad when it happens.
So lets hear it.... I have to drop the tranny right ?

I would try changing the clutch fluid 1st - its unlikely the culprit but it is the easiest thing to look at.
My second suspicion would be your syncro is going on #2

I wanted to lap this car at the local cercuit but i dont think i can with this issue. There will be nothing left of the trans after 10 laps

Now, as for tracking, I say go for it. My car has never ever grinded when at the track because they love working when they're hot. I have 30K on my Z with many track days, on 3rd TF change, and it's still like new. In fact, maybe even less grinding recently, now that I think of it.
I would not be concerned unless it is really getting worse and not tranny temp related.. If so, I personally would use some fluid per above that helps it until you need a rebuild.
As for cold driving, I always double clutch between 1 and 2 when it is cold. This eliminates the grind, and babies the tranny until it is warm. It also eliminates the skip shift, which, the way I drive when it's hot, I never even thought of an eliminator.
Just my 2c, hope it helps.

I have a 08 z06 and had that from new, mainly going 1 to 2 WHEN COLD. The time of year probably has something to do with it. If I were you, consider changing the tranny fluid, just because it will ensure proper level and take out one variable.. But, this is complicated things a bit, I recommend redline D4 ATF for the T6060, not sure that's your tranny, but I bet it uses ATF. The redline is really good at working when hot, but did nothing to improve the cold shifting. If you really want better cold shifting, consider some ATF made for MT's that improves syncro function. This, if I'm correct, actually calls for less lubricity, allowing the syncros to match speeds faster. You need to choose between cold function and hot function. I've always gone towards the latter, and redline certainly is that.

I'm guessing the trans oil has never been changed so I will look into that too.
Thanks.

What do you mean by Ranger method ? Gravity bleed the slave ?

I noticed it doing it slightly less when its cold rather then warm.
What happens is the shifter will drop into place (2nd gear) but then when i let out the clutch it will pop out. And sometimes when it goes into 2nd, i can tell that its not going to grab. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. But if I just spool up the syncro and go to first gear, it will grab every time( grab 1st)
And it doesn't really pop out. It just doesn't engage.
I'll take some in car videos of it and post them

That sounds kind of bad... Sounds like it is a bit warn. Hope it works out for you.
Changing MT fluid yourself will allow you to see what it looks like (metal??). That's where I'd start.
I doubt the clutch fluid is to blame, but the ranger method is just a syringe removing the reservoir fluid and replacing it with new and doing it a few times separated by driving to circulate the fluid. This ends up changing the majority of the fluid. I do this every 5K miles or so.

I doubt if fluid changes will solve your problem. You may want to talk with some trans specialists like forum vendors, RPM Transmissions or RKTPerformance. Just a suggestion and hope it goes better than what I'm thinking.
