The owners of these indescribable, yet admittedly catastrophic automotive failures, are some of the very citizens that are allowed to vote in general elections.
That, in my opinion, goes a long way in explaining the reason for the equally moronic, but far more "slipperier and sleazier," individuals that are currently occupying many, very powerful government positions !!

We've all seen customized Corvettes that are absolute nightmares.
For me, this is one of the most hideous Corvette abortions ever.
In fact, it should be a Class B Felony to build something like this!
