Default Anyone have their seat grow ?

So my husband and I go out to eat tonight. After we eat we go visit a friend at his business. We decide to leave walk out to the car and HOLY MOLY WHAT THE HECK!!!!

This is my drivers seat. At first I am thinking someone put a ballon in my car, no it's a condom...... What the heck my seat back is messed up took us both awhile to figure out that it's the lumbar bladder in the back of the seat!!! it looks like it is about to explode. We are trying to figure out what happened. Well before we left the house I asked my husband to put my compact umbrella back between the seat and door jam where I always keep it. Well I guess he just set it down kind of and it didn't go in the spot it stays so when we got out at his friends business to visit and the seat moved to his exist setting it must have jammed the inflation button in the on position. I think we must have gotten back to the car just in time because I think the sucker would have exploded if we hadn't come out when we did
It took us awhile to deflate the bladder and then I was able to hook the back seat cushion back into place. Needless to say I put the umbrella back in its correct spot too.

Now I can laugh at what it looks like when we walked out to the car but at first I thought WTF.

Has anyone else ever had anything like this happen?

My seat has grown over the years, but not near as fast as the front of me.

That's always what I thought too.

In this picture it is already down about half ways of what it was. We started the car or make sure the battery wouldn't die then my husband pressed the deflate button and I push with my hands on the bladder until it totally deflated. Then it was just a matter of putting the center section of the seat back on the 2 connecting hooks. After we got it all back together we checked to make sure it still worked properly and it does. I guess it was just a matter of the inflate button being pressed for so long and their was no pressure of a body on the seat so it just kept going. I think I am really lucky that we left and went to to car when we did.
Thank you to my vette angel for looking out for my car

Yikes, Lisa!

THAT'S what I call lumbar support!

I've ruined several things that fell behind the seat, but this takes the cake for beside it.

Wait, there's room behind the seat? Mine is as far back as possible. What room could there be? It's a vert though. Would that make a difference?

Probably the most disturbing thing about your post is that you carry an umbrella in your Vette, which means you drive it in the rain.
