I have the stretch bra with the open mouth for mine but I doubt if it would protect much against a large stone that flew up and hit the car. You could always just tape it up with painters tape. Lots of guys do that. But anyhow, the stretch bra works great and is easy on, easy off, and folds up to about the size of a baseball. Been happy with it.
The black stretch bra is what I've been using for a good while - the best defense against bugs. It's nice to get where you're going, unsnapping the thing and having a fairly clean and bug free car. I've washed mine out and let it dry overnight in the hotel bathroom many times.

I have the GM one and love it. I did see on the C6 parts for sell section there is someone trying to sell a victory red bra right now. I think they are asking about 300 but I am not sure. You may want to look and see.
I will need to pick up a Bra for my long trips, what would you recommend?
My ladt two vettesi used a Speed Lingerie Bra but i bought it here on the C5 section for $200.
Color needed Victory Red but blk would do

I just put XPEL clear film on my bumper, mirrors, rocker panels, and bikini cut on the hood, fenders. Cost a little more but was less than $1000. It has a 10 year warranty and barely notice it is there.
I used the GM one on a long trip and there is nothing that will damage your car with that on.

The GM bra is the best protection for the money! We have MANY thousands of highway miles, and not a single stone chip with the GM bra. You can pay more, but you won't get more.
I had the GM bra on the C5 and it did offer maximum protection but was a bit bulky when removed and I found it difficult to clean the underside. I have the stretch bra on the C6. It offers protection against sand and small rocks and is easy to clean.
Actually just installed it today, as in the morning I'm leaving on my annual 1500 mile Montana road trip
I have a stretch bra that I got with the car and a GM Vinyl (leather-oid) one. I use the stretch bra fairly regularly and to be honest, I haven't been able to get the GM Bra on the damn car... Won't stretch enough to install... Anybody want to buy a brand new GM Bra for $90?? I'm sure it would protect against a small mammal hitting the car, but I just can't be bothered with putting in on and taking it off.
Also, who sells the stretch bra with the opening for the front grill for the base car?? That's the one I want to get as mine's getting pretty torn up around the edges after three seasons.

Which Bra will work?
I've had a Colgan for every Vette I've ever owned. Never a problem if used properly.
