I'd be taking that bitch right to court! Did you smell rotten eggs at all? When cats go bad, that's the smell.
Do they not have math where you are?

2005 + 8 = 2013. It's 2014.

8 years or 80k whichever comes first. From original in-service date

I think I threw that code after I mowed some grass at the track.. Before I even checked the o2 sensors, I cleaned my air filter and it cleared and never came back.

Dirty air filter?

Cats just don't die on their own they are murdered by something upstream from them. If you do end up having a bad cat make sure you find what caused the cat to go bad.

I was referring to the used car lemon law warranty! In NY a car would not pass inspection with a bad cat and furthermore,if you bought a used car and the CAT went bad 2 weeks later,a week later or 2 or 3 months, depending on mileage at time of purchase, well,IT'S A WARRANTY FIX..SO YEA,THEY HAVE MATH HERE..AND WARRANTIES TOO!

My '09 Z06 had the P0420 alarm a month ago, and the dealer reprogrammed the ECM for free. Reference GM Doc#2261584.
