Default a little CF hood help

Hey guys

looking for a vented hood in carbon fiber, I know there is the world challenge hood but looking for some other options. a few of the hoods I have found seem to be discontinued for whatever reason. but basically looking for something with a cowl and vents to replace my stocker. actually at this point might even settle for a non vented option, what options do we have without spending 4k on a hood? pictures and make and price would be very helpful! and how the fitment was.

What about this one

This is who I went through for mine. I had it clear coated 2 times to help it not yellow.

I have that hhod as well as a black car and when I put it on it did not look as good as it does on your car! Only difference with my car is no wide body and I have chrome rims.

I had 2 coats of clear coat sprayed on mine before it was installed to reduce the yellowing of the carbon.

I saw the same hood a couple of weekends ago and they took it out of the box and mounted it. It was already yellowing so before you install any CF insure you have a couple even few coats of a good quality of clear coat sprayed. And paint your car white so you cant see all the imperfections in the paint. I regret not painting mine white when she got repainted after WB upgrade. Choose this hood!!!

Seibon has a TS-style vented carbon hood for C6.

Mine is the RK Sport Violator hood in carbon fiber. I had the sides painted and left the center exposed carbon and several coats of clear over whole hood
Fitment was excellent

My fitment was good the gaps seem large but the body shop that did the work didn't install new weather stripping on the new bumper and fenders which is on stock pieces. This would make that gap even smaller. If I was to do it all over again I would choose the exact same hood from the same vendor.

Once the car and hood was painted you cant really tell the gap is that big. And if I can ever get around to installing the weather stripping it will look stock IMO.

Love my LG world challenge carbon hood. I got a hood to let heat out, so I wanted the most functional hood out there. The fact that it looks good is just a bonus.

I second that, that hood is sexy as hell. My hood also let's heat out very well and can mount a super charger. The world challenger you have to modify to mount one and can only run a vortex style.
