lambo doors on a c6???
After googling, lambo doors on c6, I was impressed.
looks good, and from what I can tell, functional.
It looks as it would be easier getting in and out, because you
don't have to swing the door out so far out making it easier in and out.
does anyone have lambo doors on your c6?
I think with the mod, you can open and close regularly like stock
if you choosed. Is this true?
hows the livability factor? Does it squeak? Wind noise? Water issues? Good with convertibles?
Last but not least, how much does it cost for install?
thanks.

Get ready for the feedback your going to get on this thread... I've looked at them to... there are a couple of companies out there - make sure you get the top brand... ( can't think of name right now )... I got quoted around $3000 installed and all... It's basically your car so you decide yes or no ...

Picture of the ZLR door is da bomb... same color as mine... I think my guy was going to use Vertical doors... they have installed past units and claim they are a quality unit... Might be a winter project for me ...

A year ago I would have said no way to Lambo doors. However, it seems inevitable that no matter where I park, some d-bag in a hoopty parks as close to my driver's door as possible making it difficult to get in my car. Sure, I park by a curb and away from the majority in the "back 40" when I can but it's not always possible. So these do have some utility.

Nearly everyone I've spoken with regarding these doors tell me the same thing.
They're stylish to look at, and are always a hit at car shows, but are not practical at all for every day use.
They are some what difficult to reach for getting in, or out of the car.
I was advised by literally everyone I know to stay away from them.
Cost for both labor and materials, $2,300 to $3,000.
It's your car, your decision.

I parked right next to another C6 today with no visible Mods other than a hood stripe. The owner got to the car and opened up his door lambo style. I thought it looked pretty good. In order to keep the cost down, I would install myself though.
