All us black owners complain (me the loudest lol) about how black is tough to keep clean. It sure is...but when it is clean it sure does shine real real nice and is worth the "commitment".

I fussed over my black Vette for about a year and then gave it up. Much happier now. Despite the dust, it stills shines. After four weeks of dust accumulation, a neighbor will say, "Gee, you keep your car so clean!"

Me too! I was washing way too much until I got the duster. Now I take it out of the garage, dust it real quick and it looks like I just washed it. Best purchase I've made for the vette.
Now the brake dust on rims are another story...

As for the pink fairy dust, check out Duralast Gold pads at Autozone: See this thread (starting with post #10).

Agree. My '06 was black and looked fantastic after a wash and wax. The dust was very noticeable and thus easy to see to remove. I've used the Dusters for years and would never be without one. My wife's '13 Civic SI is black, as is the Grand National, so they get a lot of use. Went back to Torch Red on the '13 simply because that is the true sportscar color to me. But would buy another black Vette in the future. Some cars, like the Porsche Tubo, need to be black with black interior. GTR is another one.

I don't car what people say, nothing prettier than a shiny black Corvette with chrome wheels.
