I had to let my girlfriend drive my truck for the 1st time after being together over 2 years while her car was in the shop. I was nervous. Not like she has a history, just does not appear to be a very confident driver, even in her own car. Generally, I drive when we are together.

Tommy I think that is awesome I bet she had a grin from ear to ear. You may end up a 2 vette family. That would be great.

Mine does drive stick and well!!!! My Vette started out with her suggestion that I get another "fishing boat" ... oh yes I love her! Well it went from a boat to a 1960's something restored muscle car...to this Vette. I knew if I got another boat I'd be the only one driving it and it would not be nearly as convenient as grabbing the keys and going out for a quick spin...and I save a bunch of $ on getting the Vette vs. the boat I was planning on to boot.

I just told her last weekend that I'd love to follow her and watch her drive the Vette with the top off....(not her top off )...with her pretty blonde hair all messed up naughty and go from stop light to stop light waiting for those guys that spot her and pull up next her and get all "Macho and cool and besides themselves"....

Nothing like a hottie in a hotrod...that can drive a stick!!!!

I had my wife drive our '13 manual the 2nd day I had it, she drove my '85 manual many yrs ago & can still drive a manual, I drive 99% of the time but just wanted her familiar with it in case of emergency or me having one too many at a restaurant.

I won a new vette about 18 months ago from a casino. Had to do the paperwork at the dealer the next morning and then he drove us down to pick up the vette from the casino. All the valet peolpe were there with a few people from the casino. They tried to tell me all about the vette as we stood there. I turned to my wife and handed her the fobs and said "I don't really like red, you can have it". They laughed and said "it's a stick shift". I laughed when she hit second leaving the valet area.

Heck no.... more afraid of her parking instead of the driving. Finds the closes parking space at the stores she shop.

Well she definitely has good taste. That is the color I would drool over too. I bet she would settle for a nice gently used Jetstream blue C6 vert if it was something in the budget
I would love a C7 too but right now it's not in ours either. Love my C6 and can't image not having it. Who knows what could happen in a few years. If a C6 wouldn't hurt the bank I say get her one

Lisa

Hats off to your daughter at Clemson

This is the reason I want her to learn. We have taken road trips away from the local area and if I was to get injured or for some reason unable to drive I'd like her to be able to get us home.

My wife drives her '10 GS (A6) daily & the '70 4Spd occasionally. She drives each one of as good as anyone else can (street, not track).

My wife won't let me get rid of the C6 for a CTS-V because she loves driving it too much. F.
