The C7 will be offered for -$6-8K off MSRP....
Might take 4-6-8 years but it will happen
Got my '12 C6 1LT factory order form MacMulkin for $43K with msrp at $50K

I will never own a C7. I am very happy with my GS and do not like the styling of the C7 at all. It's like they took 60 years of Corvette heritage and tossed it out the window.
My next Vette will either be a C8 with a restyle back to more curved lined, or it will be a restored '67.

When I get my C6 paid off, I'd probably trade it in for a C6 Z06 or a 427. I love the C7, but they are expensive and I hate having a car payment.

There is no better look than the C4, C5 and C6, these are the classic Corvette evolution. In my opinion, the C7 is more like a futuristic car that looks like a Corvette, I will stick to my C6 for a loooooooong time, love the style!!!! If I make an upgrade sometime, it will be to the 427!!!

Look for...
Military/Veteran GM discount (was offered for 2 months this year)
Most likely will be offered next year.
Credit Union member discount (same amt as supplier I believe)
Supplier discount
Expanded GM employee discount
(Pd 38 for my 12)

I had one chance to buy my dream car, and I took it. I will never be in position again to buy another. Saving for retirement at 60 only 9 years away! Road tripping around the USA in my GS!

My list is significant: rear end, cylinder deactivation, 1st & 2nd yr bugs. The LS3 only has 24 less HP, My GS is a visual beauty from all angles. I keep cars for at least 8yrs & have more important things to spend money on than a car that has yet to "wow" me like the GS did.

My first vette was a 2005 c6....I remember anxiously waiting for the build and seeing it for the first time....enjoyed every bit of it until Katrina flooded it. Then had a baby and reality kicked in and brought a minivan, yes minivan. Then last August I order a c7 z51 and fell in love with the c7 just like my c6. In the end if I had to pick which one I liked more or enjoyed more......I would pick both. The c6 is definitely more brutal and c7 more refined. If I had it my way, the weekday would be the C7 , because it's more refined and sophisticated, and the weekend I would drive the c6 to release all of my stress from work.....

I'll get a C7 when Chevy works all of the bugs out. You never buy the first year or two of a new design or technology, and that is doubly true regarding GMs. People act like these cars are exempt from that...well....they aren't.

Three four years down the road, I may trade in my C6 Z06 for a C7 Z06, but since I really like my C6 Z06 and don't see myself getting tired of it any time soon, I may just skip the whole C7 gen and go straight to the C8, at that point I can afford to keep my C6 and get the C8.

IMO the C6 is the best looking modern Corvette to date.
I have spent a lot of time and money getting my C6 to where it is now. It will run with cars deep into 7 figures and I can still park it anywhere. I cant seem to get used to the looks of the C7 and mine is paid for. That's my short list. (and politically correct)
