Default My 'girls'

Had both my 'girls' out today - they sure brought a lot of attention to themselves. They trill me in their own special way...

The 1970 looked black in the first pic (on my laptop) had to take a second look. Very nice looking girls. I am thinking about getting an older vette, I like the long nose and curves.

Are those Goodyear's on the rear? How many miles you have on them? You didn't buy another set for replacement of the original Goodyear's? I got 13,000 miles out of mine on the rear, the fronts still had some tread but off they came when I put Michelins on.

Hello Rhett - According to the original owner these are the second set of Goodyears.
I bought the car with 17,800 miles and the current tires still have
Apprx. 50 percent tread left. I currently have a new set of Hankooks
in waiting.
The '70 is my surprise 60th BD present from my wife. I owned this
very car when we were dating in '77 we married in '78 - sold the car
in '79 (not a good family car). Needless to say it is a thrill for us
to have her back home. All I've done to the car was install headers
and a new carb, the rest of it is the condition is as bought.

How long did it take her to track down your 1970?
