Yes, if you have a USB port in the center console just plug in your iPod using the same cable you use to charge your iPod with the 30 pin on one end and the USB on the other end. You can also plug a thumb drive in the USB. Some older iPods might not work, but my iPhone 4 and my iPod nano both work just fine and I can choose music from the iPod or from the Nav touch screen.

just to be clear...my setup is wireless. My setup I posted requires you to have the PAL in the glovebox. If you don't have that this method I showed you doesn't work. If you have a 2011 or newer (which I doubt since your screen name says Z51) then you can just use the hook ups in the center console.

I have a 08 z51. With nav. But I dont have a usb in the console.
I only have a ipod 30pin hook up coming from the glove box. So I think I should be looking for something that has a 30pin female to a headphone jack to my s4 phone rite?!

For other options;
If you have a 30pin hook up in the glove box, you probably a PAL, and I'm guessing version 1 since it is the 30 pin. the PAL has an aux port for you to use, but it was not active in Version 1. Your options would be to upgrade your version 1 to Version 2 (if it is not already a version 2):

Or, leave your version 1 alone, and install an Aux Port:

Otherwise, the NAV radio didn't have an input for other devices (but the non-nav did, silly....)

like I said earlier...$29.99...bluetooth. Done. See my video. Kawal liked it and "stole" my idea (e.g. didn't give me credit for showing him this other option).
