Live in Idaho, and have been an avid snow and water skier since I was little.
It's a handle I have used for forums and e-mail from day one. ID SKIER is also the plate number on my 08 coupe.

Have been a "car guy" forever and my name is Joel = "Carjo"
Also....when wife and I got our first computer, we shared an email address and her name is Carol, so "Carjo". That morphed into Carjo1 and Carjo2, and today her address is still Carjo2 while I shortened mine into Carjo.
License plate on the vette is "ADULTOY" which is self explanatory.

I bought my 4th C4 Corvette at age 60, thus my user name....
On the Ferrari forum I am 1st Ferrari at 71....
And on the Cadillac V-Forum I am 1st Cadillac at 72
Cadillac has personalized tag: JOCUSN (Journalist Chief, US Navy)
And the Ferrari carries (PHOJO - photojournalist)

Science Fiction
Robert A. Heinlein - Author
Stranger in a Strange Land - One of his Excellent books
A word from that book.
Since I'm on the World Wide Web to learn (and make the odd purchase) I thought it was appropriate.
Stranger in a Strange Land - One of his Excellent books
A word from that book.
Like many influential works of literature, Stranger made a contribution to the English language: specifically, the word "grok". In Heinlein's invented Martian language, "grok" literally means "to drink" and figuratively means "to comprehend", "to love", and "to be one with". One dictionary description was "To understand thoroughly through having empathy with". This word rapidly became common parlance among science fiction fans, hippies, and computer hackers, and has since entered the Oxford English Dictionary among others.

Many years ago I got a cell phone from a new company and the Caller ID name would come up Fort Morgan Al. People started answering my calls with "Hello, Al". The name (with variations) has stuck even though the company has gotten a better Caller ID system. Besides, I have always liked this song and Paul Simon lyrics.

wayback= Riding my first Harley in Ark I could not keep up in the twisties. Someone asked where is Roger and they said I was wayback there. Well it stuck.
Traded my new Dyna Wide Glide with a friend for his Road King and told him to keep up. He could not....felt like you were gonna fall during every turn. Traded it in on a Heritage Classic the day after we got home but everyone kept calling me wayback.

I was B-Vette2000, "B" is the first letter in my wife's name and mine, "Vette" for being a corvette owner, and "2000" was the year of the car.
When I bought the 2007 I changed it to just "B-Vette," (it makes it easier to upgrade my ride now without changing my forum name).

Use to be Wild Bill in my military days. Mellowed out so now I'm MildBill. Haven't been wild for years, cept if you count that incident in the casino a few months back, but I did NOT mean to rip that girl's top off. Or last year when me and my cousin killed that hobo, but I swear he was giving me the "bad eye"! I've mellowed since the old days!

No Rules Corvette Club is the name of the club we belong to. CT only had 6 digit plates so it became NoRuls. I've corrected the spelling now that Ct went to 7 digit plates. NORULES and a veteran plate. ATT. LEOS, it's a plate NOT an attitude!

Retired LEO - Use to race Triathlon's had the Pig with Cape you see painted on my Disc Wheel. Won numerous sprint races outright, regularly placed in regional and national competitions. Won 1992 National Sprint Championship Age Category, Gold Medals in 1992 International Law Enforcement Games in Triathlon and Bicycle Time Trial, 1993 World Police and Fire Games Bronze Medals in Triathlon and Velodrome. The Avatar is a shirt I had made and has names of national and world class Triathletes and Cyclists, including Greg LeMond. When I retired from competition I bought a 1994 Corvette with Z07 package, personalized tag SUPRPIG. I raced it in National Autocross and did fair, tracked it and set track record which stood for many years for Corvette in class. May actually still be record.

I knew this would be interesting, but it's much better than that. A lot of thought has gone into many of the user names. Very good.
Also, I never realized the number of retired LEO's that are on the forum. And believe me it's no easy task to own a Corvette on a LEO salary. I know that as a fact. After I retired I had to get a real job to afford one.
