Rebel Yell is for my Great Grandfather that was in Co. I 37th Reg. of the North Carolina Confederate Army.
I chose Red Racer for my user name because red has always been my favorite color....my first Vette was Torch Red and my C6 is Victory Red. And not that I race my car, <cough cough> I just think all Corvettes look like they are ready to race anytime, anyplace.
For the benefit of my grandchildren, I call it Red Racer when talking about it. I even programmed that into the DIC so upon firing it up it says...Red Racer Ready.
Name of 2 guy comedy act that opened for George Carlin. Fairbanks Alaska in 1974. They were pretty funny. I also have it above the door of my 04 zo6 race car, with flames coming off the L. I just smile when people call me Mr Casual.
Been doing volunteer work with my kids old high school band and color guard since 1993 (lots of fun actually) and several years ago some of the color guard kids gave me a cap with GUARD DAD printed on it, it stuck.
Mine come from the movie Hot Shots. Operation Sleepy Weasel was the name of the operation they were to conduct in the movie and it just struck my as funny, being the I am a retired Marine and have been apart of different military operations/exercise with goofy names.
