CRACK in Radiator HELP! 2005 C6 Z51
I have a 2005 C6 Z51 with MANY miles. I just noticed a sizzling sound on the front of the car and lo and behold I have a crack in my radiator.
My question is I found the ac delco replacement for $290, but there is mention of some "oil cooler" on another set that adds about $160 more.
The only thing cracked is my radiator unit itself, but do I have to change out an oil cooler as well when doing the swap?
Also how difficult is this?

Isn't there an oil cooler built into the radiator of automatics? I imagine those are more than for manuals.

I have gotten many bargains from Amazon Warehouse Deals. Boots, AV Receivers, Corvette parts.... This will probably be a brand new rad with a tear in the box, possibly a return.

Ok finally installed. TOOK Forever removing the old one (4 metal oil cooler lines), but once it was out, replacing with new, changing the thermostat and replacing the large in/out radiator hose + fill and purge took me about 2.5 hours.
Don;'t let the dealer rip you off. I replaced with OEM AC DELCO Radiator for 330 (expedited shipped) + Gates (large 2 hoses) ALL for <$400, and It only took me about 5 hours.
And I am am amateur mechanic.
The dealer quoted me $606 in Houston JUST FOR THE RADIATOR. He would have charged me aroun $1300 for this job.
