Thanks, but it doesn't bother me at all. I just ignore the humorless malcontents.

These forums have a number of obnoxious folks that relish jumping into most any thread, just to make a negative comment in the hopes it will flare up into an argument, or bickering.

Like I said, I just ignore them.

As for the badge on the ashtray door, there is another just like it under the hood.
Frankly, it's not something I would have purchased myself.
My grandson is autistic, and he was so excited when I got the new 'vette last year, that he bought those 2 badges with money he saved, as a gift for me.
No way I was going to tell him that I wouldn't use them.
However, instead of putting them on the exterior of the car, which I could never tolerate, I put one under the hood and one on the ashtray door.
My grandson was thrilled, and that's all that mattered.

Thanks again for your thoughtful comment.

mpuzach...I have seen your interior shots before and, damn, it is the cleanest, neatest interior ever! And it's an '05!
(I am slightly prejudiced as I live in WA and a good friend of mine lived in La Center...but still!!!)

Love the seats....Brand? How do they feel after a few hours of driving? Do they make you sit any higher (less head room)?

Thanks

Cool on ya, Ham. I hope I would have the same idea if I had the opportunity. I hope your grandson enjoys rides!

Mine is still stock and will most likely remain that way.

Oh he does, he really does...thanks!

I've been perusing through all the photos.

Some really beautiful interiors here! Whether it's my taste or not, is unimportant.

What is important, is the personality and thought that went into many of them.

I hope we see many more.

And Moose...I'm not a hater. I like your interior with one minor exception...the emergency brake release button. However, having said that, the interior is done just the way you like it. And that's what's important!
I kinda agree with you on that one but the grey plastic looked terrible. I have thought about changing it to just black. I was really happy with the over all look of the rest though. Thanks for the comment.

Way to go Ham ... one never knows why someone did it the way they did, not all these are for me but there is a lot of effort and beautiful work here. Nice rides every one!

Thanks very much, guys! I appreciate your kind compliments. I must admit that I will miss this car when my '15 C7 arrives in a couple of months.

I knew I should have removed that cap before I took the photo.

It'll be light in a few minutes here.
Early morning is the best time to do most anything here in Florida in the summer. It gets real hot, real fast, after the sun comes up.

I detailed the interior yesterday.
I always leave a thin layer of leather conditioner on the seats over night.
That's why they look so shiny when hit by the flash in the photo.
Now I'll just wipe off any excess with a soft clean towel. It removes the shine and leaves the leather very soft and supple.
