Default steering feel

I've had my 05 for about 2.5 years and it has always seemed to have a tight steering feel when compared to other cars. But the most notable thing is that after turning a corner it doesn't straighten back up on it's own, you have to turn the wheel back to straight. Is this normal or not.

Actually I believe the complaint was with the early C6 models (05-07) that the steering was to lose. I know in 08 they changed the steering feel making it a little tighter.

Think the wheel return has to do with the wide tires.

Others will know more.

Wide tires and alignment. Do you know what your alignment on the front is now (camber, caster, toe)? Caster will be the biggest contributor.

My first thought is that it needs more caster. Get it on an alignment rack and check it out.

How are the tires wearing? Any scrubbing or uneven wear? This would indicate and possible alignment issue.
