Default Kinda pissed at ya'll (muffler mod)

Kinda pissed that ya'll took so long to talk me into it. why anyone would spend big bucks for a custom exhaust when you can get the same or better sound for $200 at a muffler shop?

Only had it out twice and already got loads of comments. One guy practically fell out of his Jeep to yell at me about how awesome it sounded

Have you heard aftermarket exhaust on a Z? Anything aftermarket sounds so much better than OE gutted or not. But glad you like it

Besides the BASSANI I had on my 05 that I bought for 500 bucks, the best exhaust I ever heard was a 200 dollar chambered exhaust I put on my 95 LT1.

I'm no the only one that likes it, I get nothing but double takes. I suddenly notice that I drive by TONS of cars with windows down, even though it's 98 degrees and 80% humidity.

What I really like is it's plenty loud and I can shut it down on the highway.

Just search muffler mod as stated above. You have to have the NPP dual mode exhaust. There are also plenty of videos online that show before and after sound.

Here's one, there are several.

All I can say is this site sucks for a search..
Every time I search in search bar. Nothing related shows up. It's useless IMO

You have to click on the advanced search option at the bottom. Standard search sucks, advanced search works much better.

In advanced search, you can search only c6 forums for example, and only titles, not the body of the posts.

By that I mean click the search button, at the bottom of the drop-down there will be a blue link that says "click for advanced search" ONLY use this search, the standard search is as worthless as our current leadership in this country.

Did the muffler mod for about 30.00 worth of parts- most of that was a wireless key-fob controlled switch off of ebay, add a circuit, couple fuses.. done! IMO:

Stock exhaust < Stock exhaust with muffler mod < Aftermarket exhaust with mod

You think? Well, most certainly they do; even with a stock exhaust.
