Stock Rim - Tire Size Combo
As title says, does this work?
265 35 18 front and 305 30 19 rears
EDIT: This is going on a narrow body c6

bump..have seen 255 40/18 and 265 35/18 as front option . use these numbers with 305 30/19 out back and active handling parameter excesses should not be an issue as you stay below the critical 4.7ish mark

the AM bump. I want to know if this is work so I can order the tires today/tomorrow.
EDIT: I'm told there's no TPMS on these so do I need to install them or will I throw a code?

Those tire sizes are NOT listed for stock wheel widths.
If you are getting wider wheels also then the fit depends on the design and offset of the wheels.
Yes, you need TPM's. Use your old ones in the same position and you won't have to buy anything.

You will get a warning message on the DIC to service the tire monitoring system and the warning light will appear on the tach side of the dash.

These are the sizes I bought. Stock rims. Michlens. I did it for the look. I wish I hadn't. It changed handling of car when driving spiritedly. I feel tires squirm on rims. The cars sets differently in a corner. I don't like it. I believe the tires are just too wide for stock rims.

I've seen upsize recommendations of 255/40/18 and 295/35/19
The only time the 265/305 size is recommended is when you are mounting them on the ZR1-R1 wheels or comparable.

Is 295s worth it then on the factory 245 size tires or no? Would that throw things off? I'm starting to wonder if 305 and 265 combo is a good idea or not...

hmm...I enjoy the suspension work I did so that tells me that maybe the 305s are too wide and the wheel walls warp under heavy turning.

They are a poor idea on stock width and offset wheels.

295 35/19 rear w/ stock 245 40/18 works flawlessly...I had that setup for 2-3 years with never even once having traction control issues or the like...ever. The only reason I went back to stock size out back was to give the Conti Extreme Contact DW a shot.

Going up one side . 265 front 295 rear combo is what I was thinking .
Or should I stick with stock. Need new tires befor Spring . ( base 2008 auto)
