Re-Call letter from GM 05 headlamp issue

SUBVETTE
I received my recall for the '05 on Saturday also. When my wife saw it said "recall" on the envelope she assumed it was for my C7, as I always get hassled for buying first generation models. I've experienced no problems and am curious about the fix. How involved is it? I replaced a turn signal bulb a year ago and that was not hard to figure out but a bit tedious to execute. Does the jumper wire attach in an accessible location under the hood or is it in the wheelwell? I guess I haven't really looked-maybe it's obvious.

Got the letter, not on website
Anyone getting thses letter running their VINS in the GM recall site? Seems many are not finding their cars listed as needing the recall.
https://recalls.gm.com/
General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2005-2007 Chevrolet Corvette vehicles manufactured March 29, 2004, through June 22, 2007. In the affected vehicles, the underhood bussed electrical center (UBEC) housing can expand and cause the headlamp low beam relay control circuit wire to bend. If the wire is repeatedly bent, it may fracture causing a loss of low beam headlamp illumination.
Wouldn't this mean ALL 2005s and 2006s at the least?

I received the first letter telling me to wait on the second and have never received it. Wondering what's going on here. I haven't had a problem with my '05' but would like this issue to be resolved.

I received this statement when I typed in my VIN:
Recall Status: INCOMPLETE. Remedy not yet available.
So does this mean there is no fix yet or no parts for the fix?

About two months ago I received a letter stating the fix was in hand but parts were not yet available. Further, it allowed that when parts became available I would be notified by letter.
The dealer service writer informed me parts are being ordered by vin.

GM FAQ answer:
My vehicle has a recall, and the status reads: “INCOMPLETE. REMEDY NOT YET AVAILABLE.” What do I do next?
GM is working quickly to finalize the necessary repair procedures and/or obtain parts. You will be notified via written communication when the repair procedure or parts are available. You can also check back at this website or with your preferred Certified Service Dealer.

It means your car may not be safe to drive at night, and if the lights go out turn on the high beams blinding other drivers. And there are no parts available to fix it. It does give me another reason to not let anyone else use my Vette at night as I can say it is unsafe for them. It has been about 5 months now waiting on parts.
Actually this is not too bad, my other GM vehicle may catch fire in the drivers door at anytime and they recommend I not part it inside a garage until its fixed. No parts available.
I think I am done with GM....and it will be sad to go.

I just had my 05 last month for service and asked the service writer if I had any recalls, and it showed no recalls for my car. Kinda funny since everyone else received a letter. I guess my build date wasn't effected.

Pretty sure all 2005s are affected, was there more than one fuse box design? I think GM just doesn't have their act together on this. It's funny it's taking so long because it's such a cheap and easy fix. I'd be curious to know what the complication is.

I checked my VIN today and that is the same status I have for mine, I am calling my dealer tomorrow to see if they have the ability to fix it or if they are also awaiting the repair guidelines and parts. I will post up what they tell me about it.

The sad part, according to the letter, is that those of us who have already paid for the fix ($600 for me) cannot get reimbursement until "parts" become available, and then they send the new letter to us.
