Just wondering if any vendor will be at Carlisle selling/installing D shaped steering wheels?

Tho not a vendor any longer, Mike's Custom Wheels has been there in the past and done installations. It's also called MCS and is in Bowling Green. I don't know if APSIS and Caravaggio install since a lot of theirs are custom made, but if they bring them with them, it is possible. I'd check with them first before they (and you) get there. DSV (Down South Vettes) usually is there but I can't recall if they do installations.

Although I haven't been a few years,last time I was there DSVETTES had theirs and APSIS was there too.

We definitely will be there and will display all three different styles.

If you want you can order now and we will bring it to Carlisle so you can pick up there.

We can refer you couple vendors that can install for you.

You will be bringing examples of steering wheels no doubt... Do you make any other popular styles and just bring to the show...Or you custom make them as there ordered...

We will display assorted styles and take custom orders at the show and then arrange production.

Every customer has his/her own spec. Hard to keep inventory for steering wheel since too many variations.

For C7 we will have two different styles.

There are steering wheel vendors at Carlisle who will do the install and offer to take your stock OEM wheel as payment if you don't want pay cash, ($40 if I remember correctly). Check at the GM Parts House display and they can direct you to who does the wheels. I bought my 2012 wheel there and had it installed on my '08.

Completely understand 100 % on to many variations ... haven said that if you would make 10 wheels - popular or basic D wheels - they would sell at a weekend show... It's what you call " impulse buying "... It's there in front of you and you buy it...It's a small investment but will pay off...Just saying !!!

Production takes time. Now we don't have enough time to build inventory even if we want to.

Do you have any pictures of D shaped steering wheels to look at? I tried your website but didn't see any for late model C6...

There are several installers at Carlisle that can do the job for you, regardless who you bought it from. Apsis has some of the nicest steering wheels around, leather is better quality than DSV.
