The only GM car I will ever own is the Vette. After I am through with it, I am back to imports. However the Ford is the best American made vehicle IMO. When the Gm of Myrtle Beach Chevy told me the ignition issue was caused by girls having too much crap hanging off their key chains I lost faith in GM as a company as if No one who drives any other brand has a lot of things hanging on key chains.
The Recall for the C6 low beam fuse box issue STILL has not reached the dealers.

I have to admit my eye has been wandering to that new 'stang too. 30 years a Vette owner and have never been as frustrated as I am getting with my C6. What fun is a car that I can't depend on just waiting for another ding ding ding....reduced engine power...service traction control or ding ding ding service active handling or so on. Car has been in shop three times this month for an intermittent problem with no clear resolution. Don't get me wrong, I love my Vette, but until I am sure GM has their act together a bit more there won't be another one.

Not sure why people say goodbye on a message board. Just because you no longer own a Corvette doesn't mean you can't hang out on the forum. Hell, I've never even owned a Corvette and I'm here quite a bit anymore...

I sure hope you didnt buy the Ecoboost 4 cylinder version.. they are already having cars serviced for this engine.. uncle is and has been a Ford Mechanic for 20+ years and he himself refuses to drive a Ford.. he actually drives an older Jeep Cherokee to work everyday as a daily driver with 300K plus miles on the Inline 6.. But i remember him saying something about the valve train having issues on a few requiring both cylinder heads to be replaced on cars with less than 1k miles already.. he said they would start running crappy on starts when cold and then become normal once warmed up.. but some would idle so ruff at idle they would throw codes..
