Default What's this 05 worth if as good as advertised?

I'm in Denver & saw this on Craigslist. What's this 05 worth if as good as advertised?

http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/4541363100.html

Would like it more if it had Navigation & Z51 but not a deal killer with out. Not interested in contacting seller until I get suggestions from members here. Thanks

I think with new tires & less than 5k year miles, it's pretty good asking price. Offer less & get good better deal. Good Luck

If it's a one owner with a clean Carfax, I'd say it's priced about right. Offer less though.

Mine has Nav, but I almost wish it didn't. OEM units offer much better features and usability. I installed an aftermarket bluetooth HD radio in my previous DD and I'm missing handsfree calling, streaming music that's stored on my phone, and the improved sound from HD radio stations. I also miss the steering wheel audio controls. The upside of the factory Nav unit is I like the way it shows the upcoming turn on the HUD.

I've been researching options to either add bluetooth or totally replace the radio.

I almost bought a car with Z51, but ended up with a different one. A bit of thinking led me to realize I wouldn't be able to outdrive the base suspension. If everything else is as you like, go for it.

What do you have to loose, call him and look at the car, price for ragtop is about right.
Ask for service history, all Corvette owner keep records.

Appreciate advice. I love the wheels on the car, says it was a factory option.

You can add Z51 or Z shocks and sways to improve the handling for about $500 installed. You won't get the coolers but I doubt you need them unless you plan to track the car.

Better off without the nav. Get a Kenwood with all the bells and whistles for $1000, installed.

Price isn't bad but get $1500 knocked off to do the upgrades.

Good price if it's clean. I replaced the stereo/nav in my 05 with a new system. The F55 is a nice feature.

wouldn't touch an '05 auto with a 10' pole (NO OFFENSE to '05 auto owners, just my own experience). between the old tech 4 spd auto and that glass rear? if you're looking in the mid 20's find a mid mileage '06-'07 or higher mileage '08+ (which is the optimal given all the improvements)

The wheels are plasti-dipped OEM 5 spokes.

Price seems fair, and the wheels in black were not a factory option in 05.

In my neck of the woods, [ Northeast ] That price,[ or $500 less ] is a good competitive price to pay. Talk to the owner to find out how good he treated the vehicle,{ maintenance records, garage kept, body work cleaned regularly, aftermarket goodies added, etc }, your looking for a previous owner that was proud of his car. If he babied the car then it's worth the list price.

Don't worry about it being an '05. There are a lot of '05 haters on here, but all of the problems found on the '05's are also found on later models. I have an '05 and love it.

I see problem posts with every year vette. The 05 is a nice Vette and usually one of the best overall values.
