smurfkiller: Yes I am lucky that the Vet was still drivable, because I refuse to stop on the HWY around here. The drivers over here will just hit you and keep on going. Repairs will start on Monday.

Yes, they are one heck of a tire. About 2 years ago when I left work after the night shift I saw a nail sticking out of the side wall of one of my tires and was able to drive back to the house. Over all I am very happy with these tires on my DD.

It's a shame about the Lotus. Fortunately Corvettes are built of sterner stuff.

Yes Sir, the only damage was the rim, no mechanical or structural damage to vehicle or tire. I was very lucky and will do my best not to tangle with any more road debris.
