Default Who makes the best ZR1 style carbon fiber front splitter and side skirts/mud flaps

From forum members experience which one of our vendors makes the best quality carbon fiber kits? Anyone have any issues with fitment, clear coat cracking or bad carbon weaving? How is the quality compared to oem. Thank you

Well There are many companies and everyone has a favorite. I have dealt with American hydrocarbon, performance corvettes and C7. I have had problems with each. But C7 sent my order 7 weeks late and many, many flaws and imperfections. Had to send it back.

I am really happy with "CF Kits and performance". I got extended side skirts and a ZR1 splitter in carbon fiber

I got the splitter and skirts in hydrocarbon dipped fiberglass from RPI. Excellent quality and fit on everything.

Your car looks great. Does the side skirt extend a little too far or is it just the pictures? I'm afraid its to wide for my liking.

I just purchased the real carbon fiber splitter and skirts from RPI. the quality was excellent and installation went smoothly. The clear coat was perfect and the carbon weave was very nice, no seams or pulls.

I will comment that the skirts come with screws, but I installed with Pop rivets after reading some discussion on the forum with other users having the screws fall out after some time.

I'm curious about this as well. There is a bit difference in cheapest and best value.

Default c7 carbon

I know from experience that c7's stuff does not fit well, include the purchase of a dremel if you do go this route.

I have a C7 carbon fiber splitter. The fitment was perfect. I bought a second or blem. I could not find any issues with it at all. The gel coat was great and there were no visible seams in the cf. shipping was fast and drama free.
