Default Seat belt warning chime

My passenger seat belt chime keeps going off with or without someone in the seat,I don't want to take it to the dealer because every time I take it in they keep it three or four days, anyone know how to disconnect it?

IMHO it would be a bad idea to bypass a safety feature especially if someone were in the seat and for some horrible reason you needed the airbags and they did not deploy.

Make an appointment and tell the dealer you can't leave the car for more than a day. Can't see why the dealer would take so long to look at it and at least diagnose the problem

This dealer is known for dragging their feet when repairing Corvettes,I just my drive the 30 miles to another dealer.

Good idea. Find another dealer. Any Corvette clubs in your area? Maybe someone in a club knows of a fix.

Check the connector under the seat. Look for frayed wiring. But get it fixed. The same sensor module that gives you that light also controls the air bag.
