Ironically, if I google the same request, not only does it return useful results, but those results invariably lead to a thread in this forum!

The owners of the forum could use a Google search engine to make life easier. But, the forum is where I always end up for answers.

with the above. Great source of info. and many members have an incredible wealth of knowledge, helpful hints, and a great depth of experience to draw from- unless you ask for an opinion on the best wax, car color, black wheels, mods, automatic v. manual, etc.

Griot's product...the best.
Red...All Corvettes are red; the others are mistakes.
Chrome wheels rock, black wheels look like something's missing.
Corsa exhaust, tune, intake

Now that took me back to the 70's when I put some side pipes ((glass packs, of course) on my '74 Camaro Type LT. Thought I was hot stuff...

The thing that I find the most valuable, is the answers are usually from people that have real-world experience with the problems and solutions.
Most of the time if a response is just speculation, the poster will acknowledge that, so you can filter the advice somewhat.
There's also a lot of very smart, well educated owners on this Forum who don't mind sharing, even if it's just their warped sense of humor.
Seldom is free advice ever this good.

The value of this forum, to me, is the endless entertainment. Advice is not usually what I come here for, but I'd be a liar if I said I hadn't picked up a thing or two since I joined.

We all had these problems and learned the hard way for the repair, so isn't good idea to pass it on to others.

I really enjoy coming to a forum where everyone understands the Corvette addiction.
I have learned a tremendous amount from the DIY threads and install tips/tricks for the things we like to do with our cars. CF!

Armed with only the Helm Manuals and threads from this forum, I recently saved approximately $7.3 Billion if I had let the dealership resolve my steering issue. Also installed my B&B catback in less than an hour thanks to a DIY thread here. No matter how proficient one may be, it's nice to get ahead of the curve and learn from people who've been there and done that! Helm are great manuals, but they don't teach nuances that can save you. Three cheers for this forum--Huzzah!, Huzzah!, Huzzah!
