Default How many times have you waxed your car this year?

So, I have been knee deep in home projects this year (paint, decking, doors, windows) and I have not had time to do much else. The Vette had about an inch of sawdust on it and I couldn't take in any longer

So last Friday I finally gave it some love, mid June and it's first detailed cleanup.

Here's one just for Hammy....

I've "waxed" it three times this year but I've used detail wax about four times per week, every week of it's life. Before its first drive every day I drive it.

I have waxed mine 3 times within the past 2 weeks because I have luckily had so much spare time to spend detailing my car. The paint literally looks like a glossy wet liquid

too many. I clayed & polished then Klasse AIO, Klasse sealant and topped it off with Meguiers Ultimate Wax, it's pretty darn clean but it can always be better.

here is a shot of the roof while parked at my favorite store

I used NXT this time too. It goes on and comes off easy and does a pretty decent job IMO.

Duct tape tip: to clean carpet down between seat and door. Take a strip of duct tape lay it down there and press it in, then just pull it up, all the crap is on the tape!
Sorry off topic.

I used this also up till last year. Now I use Ultimate wax....just a little better IMHO.

Waxed it once so far myself and had it professionaly polished and waxed when I had the parts painted black. Use Ultimate detail spray all the time so it stays nice and slick.

Being retired, and the car is always clean, and I get bored, you will find me in the garage putting another coat wax on the car.
Here's little tip, take it out of the garage to warm car, waxes flows better on warm car then cold car, and the shine will come though with brilliants.
