Default using race ramps for oil change

3400 miles and almost a year so I'm going to do an oil change on my 2012 GS vert using my new race ramps. I use to use a jack and jack stand but I did not like getting under the car.
Do you think all the oil will drain from the pan with the car at an angle.

I do my own oil. I usually start with the car jacked up in front, and let it drain completely. Then i jack it up a little higher than the jack stands (or ramps i made) and more oil comes out. I could certainly be wrong, but i think it drains better at an angle.

I drive the front up on the ramps and then jack up the rear.

I drive my GS up on the 10" high race ramps and the rear tires on the roll ups which are a couple inches high. That gives me enough room to get the jack and home made cross member under the rear. After the oil has drained, I jack up the back slightly higher then the front and more oil always runs out. I then place stands under the rear and grease the rear zerk fittings, one on each side. You can also push up on the oil lines to/fr the oil tank if you happen to have a dry sump oil system to drain more oil

I just drive up on my Race Ramps, drain, change the filter, and refill without worrying about the miniscule amount left behind by not having the car perfectly level.

I only add this in case someone else were to read it later. The dry sump oil change might be a little more difficult with the tilt than the wet. I do not remember which models got the dry vs wet so this response should at least get the reader thinking. I do not have the dry sump and the ramps work just fine.

Does your car drive right up on the race ramps?

I had to put cinder blocks or full garbage cans behind the ramps (not race ramps) to prevent from them sliding. Worked ~ 1/2 the time. Gave up. Now just jack which is a PITA as I have to drain the extra QT recommended for the track after each event.

Mine does and I have a slippery floor. My floor is called race deck, basically plastic tiles.

Easy to drain that extra oil after a track day especially with race ramps. Just change the oil filter.

Yes! Life is complicated enough.

Your GS will be happier with one of the 2-stage incline models that has an initial incline of 6.8 degrees. Either the RLL-72-2 or RLL-87-2 ramp models.
