Default Inferno Orange Z06 Woes...

My wife and I are really, really searching for an inferno orange Z06. It seems as there are none on the market except for the couple Carbon Edition ones that we run across occasionally who's prices are in the stars. Are we searching in vein? Are the guys with the inferno orange cars holding onto them? I mean, I know there weren't many made but there's no way that none are for sale.

By the way, our max price would be around $45,000.

In model year 2011, there were 167 Inferno Orange Z06s made.

In model year 2012, there were only 16 Inferno Orange Z06s made.

In model year 2013, there were only 2 Inferno Orange Z06s made.

My 2012 GS is IOM. In 2012 the least manufactured Corvette color was IOM.

I think with the 45k budget you're going to have a hard time finding a Z06. That's grand sport range, not Z06. Best of luck, hope you get one.

IO is a nice color and obviously very rare on a Z06. It's not surprising that there aren't many for sale. Your price range will make it even more difficult to find one but good luck.

As mentioned the number of IO Z06's are very limited at 185 total for the 3 years offered. Add to that the max price of $45K and you are not going to find many Z06's of the 2011-2013 range if any.

Have you thought about the Atomic Orange? There are a lot more Z06's in that color and they will fit your price range.

As others mentioned deducting the Carbon Editions which are outside of your price point there are only a total of 106 additional IO Z06's made, so you are shopping from an extremely small pool. Add on your budget of max 45k and you are basically trying to find a car that is only 1-3 year old that has depreciated roughly 50% which unless you find a real dog is probably not going to happen.

Thanks guys, I guess I didn't realize how few of them there were. Knowing that, I guess we'd have to settle for another color or try to find a DSOM one. The wife isn't a fan of atomic orange and frankly neither am I. It's too gold in my opinion.
