While I realize you're trying to exert your alpha male status... You're a horrible person.

Depends on how long you want to wait, and how many phone calls you wish to endure.
Here are dealer auction prices for the last 30 days on a 2007 Corvette 2D coupe.
Above: $31,300 @ 21,000 miles
Average: $26,300 @ 41,000 miles
Below: $21,900 @ 62,000 miles
Total sold: 27
One of the 27 cars sold was a Monterey Red auto with 6000 miles. It sold for $32,500
This is what dealers are paying each other for these cars. I wouldn't take less than the above market value due to the low mileage.

All extremely helpful, thank you so much. Right now, I have this listed only on Craiglist...but will put it on Autotrader and Ebay, and also hit Carfax. Will bring back what I find, thanks!

I bought my first vette when I was 17 and still in high school. I have owned corvettes though 6 years of college, marriage, starting a business, 3 kids and many years later a divorce and the one constant though all of it was I always had at least one vette.
Today I'm on my 25th vette. my DD and still brings a smile to my face every time I drive one of mine.

Just wondering why becoming a father precludes you from owning a corvette? My kids loved the vettes from when they were very little until today with all of them now in their forties.

I'm so happy for HRT, I'll never be vetteless

They are prices from the largest dealer auction site in the country called Manheim. You have to be a dealer, or know a dealer to get access. They have public sales from time to time, but the tools dealers use, are for subscribers only.

It's not the money, it's the time. Living in new england, I am already limited to half the year. Wife gets jealous that I drive the vette without her, and since it only has two seats, can't fit all three of us. So I figured I'll just buy it later in life or something...

I expected that, but had to ask.

I'm kidding I wouldn't cheat. She's a great girl. I do feel like upgrading to the Z06 since I am feeling a bit overwhelmed. We spoke about the upgrade today. Besides this is where men come and vent. I got a thumbs if I want it.

Well, I just left carmax...they gave me an offer of $28,000. What do you guys think? I guess I'm thinking of dropping at a dealer to see what they would pay, but i guess this is a fair offer.

Be a little more carful now because prices are going UP due to the wonderful c7 being gobbled up by those who care less about price and are happy to pay sticker or more.
The 27k offer on trade is descent because I got 27 for my 1lt 07 in late 2011 and that was 2k over average at that time for my car...It was actually KBB excellent which is what I normally get for my cars...(they are as new and my 07 had 33k miles.)
Really when you think about it, People paid 40k for brand new 13 base cars and 07/08 can still get 30k or more...It seem absurd but its real so be patient and take advantage of it while its hot.

Nice pic! Your last sentence kinda confused me a little...don't you mean no trade opens up LESS opportunities? I'm guessing if I want to trade it in I would get a better price?

If your willing to take a month or two to sell it (not to say it wont sell in two weeks), then yea, I would think there is a very high chance you could get ~$32,000, as long as you keep it listed on a national level (here, Ebay, Auto trader, ect.). The Vette is a seasonal car for most of the country, May, June, and July are the months to sell. They will start going back down around August as dealers will start the push to get them off their lot.

$28k for a car that's just about 8 years old and is a base model 1LT is a pretty good price. A new 13 1LT was going for about $40k. So $12k less for a 7yr old vette is very good, take the deal.
