Wow, it's really gettin' cold down here!

Some days were not even hittin' 70F. Just look at the forecast!

Yo Spuds, your garage door in yet?

Yup! Unbelievable, but the door is in and gutters went in too. The door is a far cry from the ones of old; control has a little screen that tells you temp etc and you can control from your phone. Super quiet too. Sat with the GC yesterday and we had a 31 item punch list which should be complete (except for floor polishing) by weekend. They have to completely repaint the garage because of cement splashes!

well I thought I might get to do some work inside today; but, with 14" of snow over night that kind of change the game plan..... my neighbors driveway was so dang deep I had to raise the blower all the way to the top and do double passes to get it cleared! Never seen that much at one time in our area in the 8 years we've been here - oh well, it beats hurricanes and tornadoes and floods, etc. Heck, maybe when I'm thawed out I'll get a drink go sit in Ruby look outside and enjoy the beauty of mother nature ................ then it's back to hammering.

Yikes! NOT looking forward to snow and 14" is crazy, but better than Buffalo had I guess. I better make sure the generator is ok and plenty of booze is on hand in case we get whacked

Too much time on my hands since giving up snowmobiling. Nothing really fancy but keeps the car comfortable!

Swap that TV out for something along the lines of a 55" and you can take the little women to a drive-in movie in the wintertime.....

Nice clean practical shop!

Awesome!

See, I told you it would be worth the wait, and the aggravation.

Good luck Spudsy!!! Show us the floor when it's finished, and try to stay warm up there.

Winter up here is upon us, so I can only dream of those warm summer days & nights.....

This is what happens when the snow falls and the salt trucks come out:

There should be a law against having that much room in a garage. Shame, shame shame

OK - here's the story with my little old Irish crab shack in New Joisey - all work is now complete, money paid and contracts executed. But....contrary to Hammy's thread - what in the name of Jesus Henry Christmas happened to the Garage? Long story short, nobody in NY or NJ will diamond polish a garage or property less than 2,000 sq feet. Well, looks like SOL regardless of what GC committed to. Took my credit and ordered RaceDeck today. Took a week to design so give me a few weeks for delivery and pics!!

Ya know, things often have a way of working out for the best.

RaceDeck can be a beautiful thing.

Looking forward to seeing yours! I think it's gonna look great Spudsy.

To all on this thread....

HAPPY CHANUKAH! --- MERRY CHRISTMAS!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!
