Default C6 Corvette Platform Gets an Italian Makeover

I'm not quite sure how I missed this one, but considering that it’s built on the beloved C6 platform, I figured it’s deserving of a few comments here, good or bad. The Soleil Anadi, hand-built in Italy, was showcased at the recent New York International Auto Show, and so far counts three owners in the Middle East as its exclusive customer base, according to a New York Times report.

Price? $299,995.

More on the blog.

horrible... Just think if you had $300k to buy a new vette AND mod it as you choose, it would be so much better than this.

I would say it is a cross between the C7 and the F12 Berlinetta. Actually the C7 has a lot of the F12 in it.

Looks pretty good, better than a C6 and on par with a C7.

Looks like the C7, Viper, and the F12 had a 3 way with a C6 and this is what popped out.

The winshield support looks STUPID with that car. Sorry, but do something different. That gives it away as to what car it was born as.

Given a higher line through the door, starting higher up on the fender, it wouldnt look that bad.

If I was going to pay 300g for an Italian looking car...I'd buy an Italian car AND have change left over. It's ok looking but at that price it's not THAT good looking.

For that kind of money, it would be something different for sure.

looks good but 300k? LOL NOPE! though seriously they kept that steering wheel and shifter? hell could have at least got eh 2012 steering wheel, and a much better looking shifter (solid aluminum would look nice or pure leather)

Superb build quality (LOL). But what do you expect for only $300K?

Doesn't look too bad but I guess not exotic enough for that price tag. The specs though are close to the ZR1 or even C7 Z06 numbers, but for that amount of $$ might as well get a koenigsseg or a true Ferrari.

Looks like the design cues are all C7 to me. Just as ugly at 5 times the cost........
