Default Simply the BEST!

I've been on this forum for several weeks now after purchasing my first Vette about a month ago. I belonged to several other forums in the past when I owned a 350Z, 370Z, and a MazdaSpeed3. Without hesitation I have to say that this forum not only has the most knowledgeable and helpful members I have ever experienced, but also the most mature when it comes to answering even the simplest of questions that would otherwise get a sarcastic answer on other sports car forums. It shows that the members here love their Vettes and take questions regarding them seriously for those that are not as car tech savvy as others. For that I say thank you and I am proud to be a member of Corvette Forum and owner of my 2005 Vette!

Well first off welcome and you are correct in the knowledge that is on this forum, but I guess you just have not met any of teh sarcastic and those that think they are above everyone else and also the ones that think they are comedians. Now don't get me wrong, some of teh replies can be funny, but sometimes you will find them a little over the top. So take it with a grain of salt.

No forum is immune to a-holes, but due to the avg age of corvette owners, we are a more mature community and with age comes wisdom. Mustang or import tuner forums may have more wise guys just due to the younger age of most of their members. You definitely can get a lot of helpful tech on this forum. Welcome!

I've been around the forum block quite a few times as well (over a dozen forums), and even owned a Mazdaspeed3 as well.

I agree completely. Ive yet to see a more well-rounded, intellectual, and overall helpful forum than this. There is an absolute plethora of knowledge to be found here, and everybody has been extremely friendly since I've been here.

The worst award goes to an RX-8 forum. Spent quite a bit of time there and don't think I've yet to see as rude and sarcastic of people as I found on that forum. They were helpful, but in general, very uninviting.

Welcome to the forum! I remember seeing your post when you bought your vette. I was interested to see what you had to say about the comparison between a vette and a 370Z.

I have always thought that the 350/370Zs are nice cars and at a good price but I have never ridden in one.

I can't compare my '08 vert to a 370Z but I sure love driving mine. I hope that you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.

Thank you and I totally agree regarding the age group. Just look at the age range of the highest percentage of forum members that was taken in a poll.....60 to 75 years old. I'm happy to say that I am in that group....but barely!

Welcome to the forum
The great thing, besides getting great advise and help, is that no matter what time of day or night, there are always someone posting new threads.
That seldom happens on the other forums. Alot of the other forums are boring or just plain rude.
