Thanks for all the input folks, I put it up on the lift and removed it this morning.....I'll store it for now while it's in good shape. This forum rocks!

Yes, they say it directs air flow upwards toward the radiator and filter,( but I have always thought it also could direct water as well).

Ive driven all 4 cars at 150 plus with no effect. No overheat in stop and go traffic.

For me, its just ugly and the car looks way cleaner without it.

10 years later but I'm having an air dam scraping issue with my '07 C-6. Do you recall ever having any cooling issues?
