up the street that is.It was a beautiful black C7 Vert.with a black top.Man this thing was clean as hell.Don't know what all you folks who don't like the looks of the C7 are looking at but you might wanna clean your lenses and take another look...these cars are downright awesome.I definitely see one in my future if the Lord says the same.

Lots of them in my neighborhood...yella coupe, red coupe, blue coupe, silver coupe (my fav), etc and they are all very cool.
Personal opinion...I think the body style is best in vert...just sayin...

They do look good and a bit on the mean side.

We have tons of corvettes here in Tucson but to date I have only seen one C7 on the road. It was nearly by me before I realized that it was a corvette. I think that the dark C7 colors look better because they help disguise all those ugly black vents.
I live in Dove Mountain in NW Tucson and the last time I went grocery shopping there were 3 other corvette converts within 100' of mine including a 60th anniversary edition 427 convert and parked near my car was a new Bentley GT convert. The Bentley is one beautiful car and see it on the road quite often.

Get behind one on the road and see how exotic they look. If you did not know it was a Vette, you would think is was from Europe.

From the front, they are indeed "mean" and "aggressive" looking….very angular, but the look is still Vette to me UNTIL….you get to the coupe rear window….. I don't care for the rectangular fastback….. I prefer the curved taper of the C5, C6. The rectangular fastback glass of the C7 says "80"s Japanese" to me.

Met one in slow traffic but did not see it till the last second or so....looked up just in time to see a little elderly lady waving like crazy and grinning big time. Nice looking silver C7 with black wheels

They had a bunch of C7 rentals at avis when I went there the other day... almost made me want to upgrade to one but I knew if I drove it then I would want it too bad

Correct or crazy
I know this is the corvette forum, but someone will give me the answer..Right? This friend of my just got a 2012 Camaro SS.It has black rims with bushed aluminum spokes. On the fenders it has LS3 6.2 badges. He told me that he had a speacil edition.I have never seen a camaro with those badges.I'm thinking the previous owner put those badges & rims on it.Those badges belong on a vette!! I hope someone can post the truth, then i will print it out and show it to him..This friend is in his 50s.I think he got ripped....Thanks

Has this happened to you...
Over the past 4 or 5 months, while stopped for gas, or at a restaurant, some one will walk up to my car and look around for a few seconds.
Then, they'll say, "is this the new Stingray?".
As soon as I'd say, "no this is a 2013,... the previous Corvette model", they'd politely say, "oh, well it's nice too," as though they were disappointed.
Just recently I've tried something new. Used this twice so far, and worked beautifully each time.
After they ask if it's the new Stingray, I just say, "yes, do you like it?".
Then they look all around, and tell me how beautiful it is, and how this is the first one they've seen, and ask a number of questions.
Just goes to show ya how little the general public knows about Corvettes. Imagine the average person trying to tell the difference between a base model, and a GS.
