But maybe with a luggage rack - like I used to have on my 1970.
Wonder how one might look on a C6?
Where in the heck would a luggage rack fit on a coupe?

Just ignore him. He post all the time to see if he can get members going. He posted what colors should should you buy that is masculine, the there was the narrow body issue. He just likes to get you going.

Very satisfied with my Machine Silver 06 Vert except for the driveline tunnel heat. If I could I'd turn it over, remove the exhaust and spray the underside with the best heat reducing/absorbing material I could find clear to the tailights. The stuff in my travel bags gets too hot in the trunk not to mention how hot the interior gets on a hot day. I'd also prefer to have the paddle shifters reversed with a ring around the outside of the entire steering wheel so even when turning the wheel I could up or downshift more easily. I'd rather pull into a higher gear and push to downshift. I rented a new Taurus and it's paddles were like that, very nice, and to me, much more natural to pull for an upshift instead of pushing.

Thousands of dollars for something that sounds like a single-speaker AM radio from the 60's. Nav is very user-contemptuous. MyLink Nav/stereo in Camaro is a much better unit.

Wish I didn't buy black again. Inventory on leftover 13's was thin and I didn't have much choice. A few days before the dealer sold a Cyber Gray that I wanted but I didn't act fast enough. I got a great deal but feel I made a deal with the devil as it's such a bitch to keep clean and it shows every mark.

If I were King for a Day, I'd lower that vaulted ceiling on the C6Z. I am 5' 10" and have plenty of room to spare. A lowered roofline would look killer and make the Vette look wider.

And while we're at it, upgrade the stock Bose Sound System to be better than the Acura MDX offered with their premium package. They use some name brand I never heard of but is supposed to be premier top of the line stuff. Ah hell. What do I know.

How about an option for darker tinted glass from the factory?

I wish my console and gauge surrounds were not silver. It's not worth it to me to change them.

Yes I agree the seats could have been designed much better...when I looked into upgrading them the price tag of 5-6k turned me around

If I could change one thing, it would be the design of the radio/HVAC controls. They look like something out of a 1980's vintage car when black and white digital displays were first coming out. The Nav screen helps, but the HVAC screen still looks old, and even the NAV display looks way outdated! I don't understand why GM would put something like that in their flagship sports car.

I have an 07 Avalanche and the audio and HVAC display is way more modern looking than the one in my 2012 GS. Really Chevrolet? Is that worthy of a $70,000 car?

Guess that's how they get us to trade for a C7! Now that's a modern looking instrument cluster!

Pull them out and paint then, or get the carbon fiber look. I just changed mine. A little work but well worth the upgrade.

The '06-'11 "Cobalt" steering wheel is just terrible...

For $250 bucks and about 20 minutes to do it yourself, the '12 steering wheel is a huge improvement IMO...
