Having Expel done once the weather warms up a bit. My installer told me best applied when ambient temps are at 70 deg. +

Had 3M. Replaced it with XPEL at Funfest last September. It's going to be much more durable and keep its gloss far better than the 3M.

I currently have 3M on my C6 and Avey. Have used 3M for years. CTS has Expel Ultimate applied two years ago. Expel will be my only one from now on...it's really the best, IMO.

I have a product called Sun Tek. It's one of the thinner clear bras. It came with a 5 year warrenty but I see the Xpel's is ten.

I have used 3M Scotguard on 3 Vettes and no problems.

None. Too many visible lines and yellowing, I would rather wait and save the cash for a bumper respray after a few years.

So you haven't had any clear bra installation training and are planning on offering clear bras as a service? Doesn't matter what film you use then as being trained and having some experience needs to come first. Im sure if you had training you would have considered the film you trained on to start off with first. Vinyl is a much different material... I have installed both.

As a online seller, I only need to sell what is the best material to my customers. I wanted to get the opinion from all Vette owners to see what they are using most so I can stock that material more.

Different films have different properties. I don't think I would sell 3M as a DIY product. It is very good material, but it requires experience to install it so it looks nice. If you sell it and people aren't happy with the final results, it is you and the product who will share the blame. There are enough people who have had good results with 3M that 3M isn't going to be hurt. Your business, on the other hand, may suffer if you get a poor reputation. I would offer an inexpensive film that you can afford to replace when a customer complains about a poor finish or result. At least then yhou can say you stand behand what you sell.

You're way behind the times, they don't yellow anymore & Expel Ultimate is the best, hands down.
Glossy, no orange peel, virtually optically clear, & it self heals, with in reason depending on the damage.
What more can one ask for?

Is there any way to tell what is on your car? My car has one on it and I don't have a clue what it is but would like to have it replaced.

I agree with the first part. BUT I prefer Suntek over Xpel as it is smoother and also self heals. I offer both for installations though simply because some people choose a 10 year warranty over a 5 years warranty.

Selling kits online is risky as you have to sell a kit that anyone can install... which is difficult. There are a lot of films out there... on a scale of 1-10 10 being the hardest to install 3M is around a 9. Xpel Ultimate is around a 6 and Suntek is about a 2. This is based off of pliability and the adhesive strength.
