Zero on a new 08 and no car payments at all after 1985 for cars.

God did I detest the car payments when I had them.

Credit cards have been clean too for decades.

Pay as you go other than the mortgage.

0 car payment....0 mortgage....don't have any credit cards....$472/year full coverage from Erie Insurance...insurance for our 2011 GS is less than Mrs. Lucky's 2012 Murano...go figure

What the hell does it matter? A Corvette is purchased generally for play/enjoyment. Toys depreciate quickly and therefore from an economic standpoint, if you have to make payments-don't buy it as you can't afford it. If paid for and it sits in your garage, you still have insurance and maintenance to cover. Add a huge payment and you will have a weight on your wallet which takes away the enjoyment of ownership. Save to pay cash and who knows, you may suddenly find yourself in a position to buy what you really want or need.
Asking questions as to our monthly payments is immature and descriptive of the one making the inquiry.
