In a way, every time that guy paid an entry fee to enter a show....it's kind of like paying for the trophy. But to be honest, what else can he do with it except put it in shows? If he drives it a lot, he takes the risk of a paint chip, someone hitting him, etc.
He built a show car and that's what he's doing with it. Good luck to him.
But I still don't like it.
