Look, we all make mistakes, I just forgot to latch my roof down. so what, does any one know where to find a replacement targa top? no acrylic, just a regular fiberglas top. i see them here and there on ebay, but do not have weatherstripping, it is difficult to remove them from the old one and put it on the new one?

If you went back and found it you might be a good candidate to buy the carbon fiber one and swap the hardware from the damaged one over.

Wow, good to know this happens. I just bought a '10 GS and haven't taken the top off yet. After reading this post my mind said 'can't happen to me'. Then I read the attached linked post and changed my outlook. Sounds much like the guys that say 'I never have a problem at the boat ramp' or 'I've never dropped my bike'. I will be extremely careful going forward that's for sure. Good information to know. Thanks
