Battery Covers
I have a brand new C6 battery cover that was given to me by a friend. His car was a 2013 GS and mine is a 2005.
There is a wire that goes from the positive terminal to the fuse box that has little slack in it and it appears it will keep the cover from sliding over the battery.
Is there a difference between model years on the battery wiring, and if no, how have others installed battery covers?
Below is a picture of the wire that will not allow the cover to slide over the battery.
