People wouldn't have to go into any explanations, you could just setup choices.

$0 to $25,000

$25,001 to $40,000

$40,001 to $55,000

$55,001 to $75,000

$75,001 to $100,000

$100,001 to 120,000

$120,000 +

I think something like that should do it. It's anonymous so there's no reason for anyone to lie.
Posting of this scale suggests (to me at least) you may fall in the middle.

I think this would better serve OP needs.

Nothing statistically special about corvette owners that would suggest they don't fall into normal distribution.

I'm always curious, as to how folks arrive at the perceptions they have, with literally no basis in fact.

Care to explain how you came to that conclusion?

Because you left the "rich" at 120+ when that certainly is farrrr from rich. That's barely enough to get by for a single man in NJ...

I think its better off
0-30
30-60
60-85
85-100
100-150
150-250
250-500
500+

Ya, but 120+ means anything over 120, like 250, 600, what ever. That's what the "+" means.

Hey, forget single....if a married guy with 4 kids, can't get by with a $500k income anywhere he needs some serious money management courses.

Point is you want the data to plot nicely and resemble a bell curve. If the average income of a vette owner is 60k then you nailed it, however, I would guess it is closer to 100k.

Bell curve away my friend, what ever makes ya happy.

I apologize for my non-linear suggestion.

In some areas of the country 120K a year can stand for baller status. Also, if one has absolutely NO debt, 120K a year is baller status, but if you got a house payment, kids, car-payment, credit card payment etc it is far from baller.

120 no debt that's quite true. I meant 120 with all of those payments you mentioned.
